The name “So-EL” is dedicated to the twin daughters of the founder and CEO, Demetrius Harrell. Their names are Sophia and Eliana. Recently, a series of unfortunate, but natural, events resulted in the loss of Eliana while in the womb – causing Sophia to have a stroke in the womb. This incident caused severe damage to Sophia’s brain and its subsequent development. As a result, she has severe mental and cognitive delays. This unfortunate tragedy turned out to be just one of several losses that the Harrell family experienced in 2017.

Ultimately, as Demetrius and his wife began to put the emotional pieces of their lives back together in 2018, they decided to introduce the So-EL concept to the Loganville community. The So-EL Day and Wellness Spa was created to help people heal by offering a place to take time for themselves. Here, they may rejuvenate and continue to push forward with whatever struggle they may be dealing with and hopefully understand that there are people who care about them and are willing to help.
